About This Role:

As a Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the credit control function of our organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, minimize bad debts, and maintain healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Management:
">

  • Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and credit limits to manage risk effectively.

  • Evaluate new and existing customer creditworthiness through financial analysis, credit scoring, and risk assessments to make informed decisions.

  • Approve or recommend credit limits and payment terms to ensure smooth transactions.

  • Receivables Management:
">

  • Monitor the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all debts are collected in a timely manner.

">

  • Review and reconcile customer accounts regularly to prevent errors and discrepancies.

">

  • Ensure accurate and timely allocation of receipts to maintain transparency.

  • Collections:
">

  • Lead and manage the collections team to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve disputes promptly.

  • Resolve invoice disputes and escalate problematic cases to management for resolution.

">

  • Maintain regular contact with key customers to secure payments and build strong relationships.

  • Reporting & Analysis:
">

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on receivables, aging, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), bad debt provisions, and collection efficiency to inform business decisions.

  • Highlight high-risk accounts and overdue balances to senior management for prompt action.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
">

  • Work closely with the Sales, Legal, and Customer Service teams to resolve credit issues and support customer relationships.

  • Liaise with external credit rating agencies and legal advisors when required to ensure compliance.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Manage, train, and motivate the credit control team to achieve performance targets.

  • Set performance KPIs and review team performance regularly to drive improvement.

  • Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company credit policies and regulatory requirements to maintain integrity.

  • Support internal and external audit processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
