Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Modeler to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing historical financial statements in MS-Excel, requiring a good understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial ratios to ascertain the financial performance of public and private companies.

  • The successful candidate will identify key KPIs, emerging trends, relevant industry updates, competitive environments, associated risks, and relevant valuation metrics to provide an overview and conclude investment theses on companies under coverage.
  • They will develop detailed financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, company budgets, and estimates, including normalizing financial statements and creating various scenarios such as management cases, sponsor cases, upside, and downside cases.
  • Furthermore, they will analyze debt structures and prepare liquidation-based recovery analyses for various debt pieces using recovery values for each asset type.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA.
Requirements:

We require the following qualifications for this position:

  • A CA/CFA (cleared all 3 levels) or relevant certifications with 4–6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.
  • The ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines.
  • Strong accounting, financial analysis skills, and English writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
