Financial Controller

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work in the financial controls team supporting the CFO's office of an European private equity client.

This role involves working in areas of corporate accounting, including consolidation based on IFRS and statutory reporting. You will be responsible for managing project activities, ensuring timely allocation and effective management of tasks among team members.

You will also monitor and respond to various requests from different communication channels, allocating ad-hoc activities accordingly.

Additionally, you will coordinate with internal and client teams to collate information and communicate task status effectively.

Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc analysis to ensure best quality standards are met.

Generate analysis/reports based on client/team requests and improve existing reports to add value consistently.

Key Requirements
  • Post-qualification experience of 3-5 years in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  • Ability to understand group structure and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; VBA programming knowledge is an added advantage.
Essential Skills
  • PowerBI knowledge
  • Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, Business Dynamics, etc.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Other requirements include a valid passport and willingness to work from the office in Bangalore.
