Cloud Systems Architect

The role requires a Cloud Systems Architect to design and build cloud infrastructures for Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Implement and manage Single Sign-On solutions, including LDAP integration
  • Design and enforce identity and access management policies
  • Administer and manage Linux servers, ensuring system stability, security, and performance
  • Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including user account creation and group policy management
  • Triage and respond to support requests related to cloud infrastructure and systems

The team works via an Agile methodology, focusing on implementing solutions via automation to ensure 100% compliance whenever possible. This role requires navigating technology concepts fluently, adopting new 3rd party tooling, or providing feedback on alternative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell; Python experience also preferred
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
  • Strong Linux Admin experience, including base image creation and kernel patching
  • Windows Active Directory Administrator required
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a scalable and production-critical environment, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance
