We seek a seasoned Cloud Expert to spearhead our enterprise cloud strategy, drive innovation, and oversee mission-critical infrastructure transformations. The ideal candidate will possess the technical prowess and business acumen to design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities in Detail:

  1. Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure: Compute, Storage, Network, Security, Observability, Resiliency (HA, Backup, DR). Proficient in Enterprise Networking Architecture and Hybrid Cloud strategies across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments. Familiarity with Private Cloud Environments; hands-on experience is not mandatory.
  2. Design and architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions using appropriate hyperscaler technologies. Ensure cloud architectures are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized per business requirements. Establish and enforce infrastructure design, build, and implementation processes and policies.
  3. Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of cloud migrations and repatriation efforts. Manage teams in delivering complex solutions including migrations, repatriation, and infrastructure builds.
  4. Analyze cloud and PCE billing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead audit and optimization initiatives to control and reduce cloud spend. Recommend and implement Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, or Spot Instances to optimize operational expenses. Improve application and infrastructure performance through continuous evaluation.
  5. Ensure all cloud environments adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements.
  6. Prepare MIS reports and present project status to senior leadership. Document technical and process details with clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with customers, sales, and delivery teams to identify growth opportunities and enhance engagement.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in infrastructure and cloud solution architecture.
  • Experience with cloud migrations and application repatriation.
  • Understanding of PCE, VMware, NSX-T, Veeam Backup Solutions, OpsRamp.
  • Familiar with GL Metering.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience in pursuit and pre-sales activities.
