Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modular Google Cloud-based systems.

Your primary focus will be on developing, managing, and improving GCP infrastructure using GCP CI/CD tools such as Github, CloudBuild, Ansible, Jenkins, and CloudBuild.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

In addition, you will ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

You will identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues, and regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.

Furthermore, you will interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy modular Google Cloud-based systems
  • Develop, manage, and improve GCP infrastructure using GCP CI/CD tools
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices using IaC tools
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
  • Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs

Requirements and Skills:

  • Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with hands-on GCP
  • GCP, Hashicorp, and CKAD certifications preferred
  • Monitoring and analyzing infrastructure using services such as Cloud monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Migration and Enterprise Landing Zone setup experience using Migrate for Compute Engine and Terraform
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Client management skills to discuss systems as needed
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Engineer
