Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex cloud solutions that meet the technical requirements and business objectives of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. They will also be proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with 8+ years of IT implementation experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential for success in this role.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based software at scale.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex cloud solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of IT implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of DevOps experience
  • Hands-on experience in CloudFormation or Terraform and Containers (either ECS or EKS)
  • Strong hands-on experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python), design, automate, and optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes leveraging IaC tools
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, and Code Deploy, experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce)
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
