Agile Migration Specialist

This position entails overseeing the entire architectural design, data integrity, scalability, and compliance of a migration process from Rally to Azure DevOps. The successful candidate will serve as the technical authority and strategic advisor for this initiative.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the technical architecture and migration roadmap.
  • Drive strategic decisions on tooling, data fidelity, field mapping, and process harmonization.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to align goals and timelines.
  • Conduct risk management and lead resolution plans for infra, data, or access-related blockers.
  • Guide teams on technical implementation and transformation logic and workflow mapping.
  • Oversight of cutover strategy, including rollback plans and post-migration support.
  • Influence best practices adoption across teams.
  • Presentation of status updates, key risks, and technical insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in both Rally and Azure DevOps, especially their data models and customization capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Agile tool migrations.
  • Strong proficiency with REST APIs, data pipelines, and transformation logic.
  • Broad technical depth across Agile project management tools, DevOps workflows, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with security/access models, including Azure AD integration, permissions, and compliance policies.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
