ERP Technical Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ERP technical operations specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and operations expertise to our Oracle ERP system, working closely with various business functions such as manufacturing, logistics, procurement, order management, finance, customer service, and others.


Key Responsibilities
  • Use functional technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve ERP platform issues reported by system users globally.
  • Work in a global team environment with a multi-cultural perspective, learning and collaborating with others to improve ERP operations.
  • Collaborate with business, non-technical users and technical teams, DBAs, developers, app teams, integration specialists on various stages of incident and problems resolution process.
  • Own and write technical support process documentation and build knowledge base for support teams as well as end-users.
  • Write SQL scripts, configure the ERP platform to support business requirements, use automation to reduce manual and repeated tasks, and incorporate lean methodologies to identify and reduce waste, optimize operational procedures, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements
  • Three plus years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2 or greater.
  • Technical knowledge in one or more ERP EBS modules like order management, financials, logistics, manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ITIL guiding principles and expertise in ITSM service management - incidents, problems, changes.
  • Possess previous experience in IT or software certification, which would be a plus.
