About the Role:

The Credit Analysis Team manages the credit analysis function for corporate clients globally.

We are seeking an ambitious credit analyst to cover a varied portfolio across the EMEA region.

  • Purpose of Role:
  • Perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, annual reviews and limit renewals, support on ad-hoc requests and periodic reviews when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.
  • End-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per our credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage ever-changing priorities; work diligently to develop technical skills and industry knowledge related to the role.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in a bank environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents).

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
