Job Description

Position Title: Credit Analyst Location: Remote – India based (with extensive travel across Southeast Asia) Reporting To: VP Credit Analysis

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will work closely with the VP Credit Analysis to assess credit risks, develop financial models, and support key business decisions. The role requires a meticulous and analytical professional who can evaluate risks, provide actionable insights, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, combined with significant opportunities for travel across Southeast Asia to meet with stakeholders and oversee credit-related operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Risk Assessment

o Conduct in-depth credit analysis of clients, vendors, and partners to evaluate their financial health and creditworthiness.

o Develop and maintain detailed financial models and risk assessment frameworks to support decision-making processes.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration

o Work closely with internal teams, including sales and risk departments, to ensure streamlined credit operations and effective risk management.

o Engage with external stakeholders such as banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions to facilitate credit terms and business operations.

3. Policy Adherence and Compliance

o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.

o Assist in implementing and improving credit policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.

4. Reporting and Documentation

o Prepare detailed credit reports and risk analysis summaries for senior management.

o Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and support business growth.

5. Travel and On-Site Engagement

o Travel extensively across Southeast Asia to meet with business partners, conduct site visits, and oversee cross-border credit operations.
