The role of a Partner Enablement Manager is crucial in equipping partners with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to drive joint success.
This position involves working closely with sales, solutions engineering, partner sales, and services teams to identify challenges, escalate critical issues, and drive seamless collaboration between Backbase and our partners.
Key Responsibilities
This includes supporting the onboarding process for new partners by ensuring they have a foundational understanding of Backbase's products, services, and business objectives.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for partner-related enablement queries, helping to identify knowledge gaps and escalating challenges when needed.
The Partner Enablement Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, solutions engineering, partner sales, and services teams to streamline partner interactions and ensure smooth enablement journeys.
This role also involves assisting in coordinating and delivering training sessions, workshops, and enablement initiatives to keep partners up to date with Backbase solutions.
Technical & Sales Support
This includes collaborating with the Partner Sales and Solution Engineering teams to provide partners with relevant resources, collateral, and tools for effective selling.
The Partner Enablement Manager will work alongside the Backbase Academy and Partner Success teams to ensure partners stay current with our latest technical solutions and methodologies.
This role also involves identifying common technical challenges faced by partners and escalating issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
This includes monitoring partner progress and engagement with enablement programs, highlighting key areas for improvement.
The Partner Enablement Manager will support the evaluation of partner certifications and training completion, ensuring partners meet required enablement standards.
This role also involves gathering and consolidating partner feedback, helping to improve enablement processes and drive greater partner success.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in partner enablement, partner management, sales enablement, solution engineering or a related role in the software or fintech industry.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding and experience of implementing software solutions and related methodologies.
A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with banking, wealth management, and financial technology trends is highly desirable.
Experience working in a partner-driven sales environment is also preferred.
This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will be able to identify issues, escalate challenges, and proactively drive resolutions.
Strong organizational and project management skills are essential for this role.
Ability to work independently is also required.
Experience working with CRM, sales enablement tools, and partner training platforms is a plus.
