Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Develop high-quality technical design drawings and specifications that meet regulatory requirements

• Enhance the technical capabilities of the team through training and mentorship

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop technical solutions on projects

• Participate in design peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and appreciate the basic principles of other disciplines

Project Leadership

• Manage the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects by planning, budgeting, and supervising teams

• Complete project planning, stakeholder management, and risk assessment to ensure project success

• Identify, assess, and mitigate major project risks to minimize their impact

Business Leadership

• Manage and support team members to achieve their full potential

• Embed health and safety into all work practices to ensure a safe working environment

• Plan resource needs and escalate requirements as necessary

• Contribute to the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent

• Work closely with line managers to improve communication and design processes

• Conduct meaningful inductions, performance reviews, and development plans to support individual growth and business objectives

• Lead by example and ensure compliance with quality management systems and project lifecycle processes
