Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Packager to join our team. This role involves handling customer requirements for application packaging, including experience in Windows 7/8/10 migration projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Handle customer requests as a single point of contact for application packaging services.
  • Migrate applications from Windows 7/8 to 10 using various tools and techniques.
  • Utilize Admin Studio and Install Shield for creating and repackaging applications.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like VB, WMI, Batch Scripting, PowerShell, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • Adept at testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications.
  • Familiar with VMware Workstation and Oracle Virtual Box for virtual builds.
  • Experience in creating and repackaging applications using Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Installer Technologies, including MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions.
  • Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, including App-V 4.6 and 5.0.
  • Troubleshooting skills using tools like FileMon, RegMon, PictureTaker, and others.

Our ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in application packaging, testing, and remediation. They should be proficient in various tools and technologies.
