Senior Software Deployment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled software deployment professional to support the packaging and testing of applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with advanced packaging tools, including PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Intune for large-scale deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Packaging applications into MSI, MST, or App-V formats
  • Supporting the creation of application packages using PSADT tool
  • Participating in thorough testing and validation of application packages in controlled lab environments and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Documenting packaging steps, testing results, and installation guidelines
  • Ensuring seamless deployment through SCCM/Intune and resolving complex packaging-related issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and application owners for requirements gathering
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Packaging Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Bug Ratio
Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Functional Skills/Competencies:
  • Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems and Windows Installer technology
  • Advanced expertise in packaging tools like Admin Studio, Installshield, Orca, and troubleshooting tools like PicTaker, Beyond Compare, ACT, etc.
  • Experience in handling packages with drivers, certificates, services, permissions, dependencies, DLLs, registry, and custom actions
  • Mastery of PowerShell scripting & PSADT
  • Experience in SCCM/Intune for large-scale deployment

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a structured IT environment
