Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to test a range of applications from high-stakes engineering software solutions to control and monitor high-end software control systems.
  • Execute project plans and deliver commitments within a professional, high-paced engineering environment.
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate direction and progress.
  • Drive improvements in software quality practices.
  • Oversee the development of new test frameworks and applications to ensure the implementation of manual and automated test solutions.
Technical Expertise:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly within engineering teams developing software delivering full systems.
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in software testing / quality assurance with web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on experience in manual API testing.
  • Experience in automation testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns & Data Structures.
  • Working knowledge of various types of testing, from functional testing to performance and mobile/browser compatibility.
  • A passion for technology with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
