Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to oversee the management of our infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, including on-premise datacenter and cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement infrastructure strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate the purchase of software, hardware, and other IT supplies as approved by management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Interact with senior management/peers on matters requiring alternate approaches.
  • Manage outsourced teams for daily operations/activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems.
  • Perform live DR activities and DR drills periodically.
  • Have working knowledge of server, storage, database, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), and network.
  • Manage production incident response.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B Tech / BE / MCA / MBA degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with infrastructure management for both on-premise datacenter and cloud infra.

Skills and Requirements

  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Planning and executing infra related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infra such as server, storage, database, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), and network.
  • Good knowledge and exposure on cloud computing.

Functional Competencies

  • Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategy.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures.
