Job Summary
Our company is seeking a Senior Fibre Optics Technician to join our team. As a Senior Fibre Optics Technician, you will be responsible for resolving, repairing and installing fibre optics systems to ensure they function correctly.Main Responsibilities
1. Examine and replace faulty fibre optic cables and schedule regular maintenance routines to prevent system downtime2. Carry out fibre splicing and rectify fibre optic problem areas to maintain optimal performance
3. Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections to detect any faults in the fibre optic system
4. Execute premises cabling, including underground and underwater cabling requirements, to meet client demands
5. Monitor signal strength of devices such as televisions and telephones to provide adequate performance
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and good communication skills. You should have experience working with fibre optics systems and a strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.Benefits
