Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Director

This position oversees all aspects of production operations to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.

We are seeking an experienced candidate with a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations on the shop floor
  • Supervise job placement, workflow, and component movement during various stages of manufacturing
  • Design and implement layout plans for new projects, including fixtures and machinery installation
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs
  • Ensure in-process inventory management and smooth production flow
  • Coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures
  • Monitor production costs and optimize resource usage
  • Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or related field
  • Strong understanding of solar mounting structures and fabrication techniques
  • Experience handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
  • Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems
