We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with expertise in designing and optimizing column internals such as trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters to enhance mass transfer and separation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize column internals to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and customer consultations.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
  • Develop technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.

Maintain expertise in mass transfer technology and process engineering best practices. Ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, ChemCAD) is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
