Enterprise Data Architect

About the Role:

  • Create data pipelines to extract valuable insights from customers' databases using ETL platforms, ensuring seamless data loading and processing.
  • Design robust data warehouse architectures in columnar databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets, optimizing query performance and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Develop, deploy, and manage effective SSIS packages to validate, transform, and synthesize customer data for integrated business planning and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand customers' business requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Perform advanced data analysis for complex use cases using SQL documentation to drive business decisions.
  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Participate in technical design, data requirements gathering, and provide recommendations on best practices to ensure accurate and complete data.
  • Design and automate data loading processes with intelligent checks and balances to deliver sustained value.
  • Develop and execute test plans, document issues, and track progress towards resolution.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with o9 Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL with knowledge of DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning is a MUST.
  • Familiarity with workflow programming concepts.
  • Experience working with columnar databases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
