Job Overview
The role of a Customer Service Representative is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. This involves greeting and consulting with customers to document their service needs, providing cost estimates and explaining required work while obtaining approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, understand their requirements, and document service needs effectively.
- Service Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates, explain the necessary work, and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
- Coordination: Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, keeping them informed about the progress of their services.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address customer concerns promptly, ensure their satisfaction, and follow up after the service to guarantee complete satisfaction.
- Sales & Upselling: Recommend additional services and warranty options that can enhance the customer's experience.
- Administrative Support: Manage appointments, maintain records, and handle invoices efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service advising.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repairs, customer service, and service software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- ASE Certification and dealership experience are preferred but not mandatory.
