Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Industrial Relations and Engagement to join our team at AB InBev India.

Key Responsibilities
  1. ER & IR Roadmap Deployment: Ensure the effective deployment and tracking of unit-based ER & IR roadmaps.
  2. ER Policy Formulation: Support the formulation of various organization-wide ER policies in line with applicable government guidelines and directives.
  3. Workforce Deployment: Contribute inputs on blue-collar workforce deployment, pay, performance management, training, and skills enhancement to fulfill the overall productivity agenda of Supply & Logistics.
  4. Contract Labor Deployment: Suggest the philosophy and risk associated with deploying contract labor and various associated factors such as workforce ratio (FTE to Contract) and other legal considerations for PAN India operations.
  5. Self Compliance Tool: Build rhythm on the usage of the Self Compliance tool and highlight the non-compliance scorecard on a monthly basis.
  6. ER Projects: Suggest ER projects.
  7. ER & IR Benchmarking: Benchmark ER & IR philosophies internally and externally.
  8. ER Repository: Maintain and update the ER repository of all units.
  9. Disciplinary Cases: On a need basis, support the overall HR team in the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases, including acting as an arbiter between the workman/ union/ white-collar employees and management, when required.
  10. Ring Fencing Initiatives: Drive and govern ring fencing initiatives for the units at the corporate level by mapping all plants from the viewpoint of external environment and trade union management complexity.
  11. Misconduct Handling: Have hands-on exposure with misconduct handling as per the law of the land across the business. Also, the person should be experienced in handling industrial disputes effectively as per the process flow of conciliation, arbitration, and adjudication.
Requirements
  1. MBA in HR: Possess an MBA in HR from a premier B-School.
  2. Relevant Experience: Have 7-12 years of relevant experience.
  3. Skills/Knowledge: Possess strong IR knowledge, good commercial acumen, and high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire teams.
  5. Personal Attributes: High energy, solution-oriented and positive attitude, exceptional customer orientation, fast-mover, quick to adapt, flexibility and resilience in a fast-moving environment, integrity and professionalism.
