Quarry Operations Manager

The overall responsibility of this role includes strategic planning, tactical execution, and operational optimization across quarry and crusher units.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, manage equipment maintenance schedules, optimize production output, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance programs for crushers, screens, and heavy equipment to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
  • Strategic Planning & Business Development
    • Prepare annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive growth and profitability.
    • Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Team Leadership & Training
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse workforce, including engineers, supervisors, operators, and labor.
    • Develop training programs for skill enhancement, safety awareness, and teamwork to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Compliance & Safety Management
    • Ensure adherence to mining regulations, environmental standards, and labor laws.
    • Enforce strict safety protocols to minimize accidents and promote a zero-harm workplace.
  • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Monitor expenses, fuel consumption, spare parts, and operating costs to maintain financial discipline.
    • Compile MIS reports, costing sheets, and performance dashboards for management review and decision-making.
