Senior Planning Engineer Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in maintenance work, preferably mechanical, within the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve planning processes to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of planners to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • More than 15 years' experience in maintenance work, preferably mechanical.
  • At least 10 years as TA Planning Engineer or Field Engineer.
  • 5 years as Senior TA Planning Engineer.
  • Fairly good knowledge and understanding of various process equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English (IELTS 6 Equivalent).
  • Capability to assist in QA/QC/HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
  • Familiarity with different pipes, gaskets, and bolting materials.
  • Knowledge of different welding techniques.
