Preventive Maintenance Supervisor

This role is responsible for overseeing the complete management of engineering, electrical, and civil maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will support the Maintenance Department in planning, executing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs to ensure smooth facility operations.

The areas of focus include:

  1. Developing and implementing effective preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  2. Scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, including routine inspections and repairs.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including spare part usage and equipment performance.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Execution: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and services.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that maintenance activities meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline or certifications in Maintenance Management/Facilities Management is a plus.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lead and manage teams to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
