
Planning Team Specialist

As a Maintenance Planning Team Lead, you will oversee a team responsible for developing detailed plans and schedules to execute planned maintenance and project work.
This role integrates routine maintenance planning/scheduling activities with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in planning and scheduling tools and experience managing site staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate non-turnaround routine maintenance work at the site performed by various crafts.
- Provide SME support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for executed project work.
- Ensure high-quality work packages compliant with industry standards.
- Drive accountability regarding standard planning and estimating tools and practices. Lead planner and scheduler growth and development.
- Deliver quality execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure schedules are integrated into the operating plan.
- Partner with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into the asset integrated plan/workflow.
- Develop tools to streamline cost and execution forecasting accuracy and report on status.
- Work with Construction Services to integrate executed scope into a master project schedule.
- Communicate scope progress to customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Grow Routine/Planned Maintenance work process competency within the organization.
- Ensure Lessons Learned reviews are completed for each FEL event and drive improvement initiatives.
- Degree in relevant Engineering or Maintenance Discipline.
- Previous Oil and Gas experience in a Maintenance Planning Leadership Position.
- Strong technical background in planning and scheduling tools.
- Understanding of planning processes including constructability, advanced work packaging, and project scoping.
- Knowledgeable in core maintenance and technical project planning and scheduling industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing site staff.
