About This Role

As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient operation by analyzing quality and cost of food production. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, providing excellent food products, and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Monitor time management and maintain set standards to ensure efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Lead by Example: Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure company-set standards are followed.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure safe, quality food products and complete guest satisfaction.
  • Process Management: Develop and comply with systems, procedures, rules, objectives, and timescales set by the organization.
  • Quality Improvement: Work within a technical/specialized area of expertise to improve the quality of the service and product provided.
  • Team Collaboration: Adopt an accommodating and helpful manner, accepting objectives set by others and working within agreed parameters.
  • Development and Support: Mentor, counsel, coach, and support subordinates to boost morale and personal esteem.
  • Adherence to Guidelines: Ensure full adherence to menus, recipes, methods, and operational specifics provided by the company.
  • Seeking Direction: Seek direction and authority from others when and if appropriate.
  • Goal Achievement: Achieve set goals in a non-assertive and efficient manner.
  • Daily Tastings: Conduct daily food tastings and correct discrepancies immediately.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor the production and preparation level using the Culinary Checklist.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain Public Health regulations at all times.
