Lead a Small Group of Engineers:
You will oversee a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining our products and infrastructure. As an Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for the team's performance, ensuring they meet their goals and deliver high-quality results.
Develop a Long-Term Technical Strategy:
Craft a thoughtful, long-term technical strategy that aligns with the company's vision and objectives. This involves anticipating future needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and prioritizing investments in technology and talent.
Recruit, Grow, and Empower Engineers:
Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent by creating an inclusive and dynamic work environment. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, empowering engineers to take ownership of their work and drive meaningful impact.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with other engineering managers, functional leads, and stakeholders to set direction, define goals, and prioritize initiatives. Ensure alignment across teams and departments, promoting a cohesive and effective organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in software engineering management, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Significant experience as a software engineer, ideally across various organizations, industries, and technology stacks.
- A proven track record of mentorship and helping others grow in their careers.
- Experience and enthusiasm for recruiting, combined with a thoughtful approach to team growth.
