Lead ML Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scaling of machine learning products and credit risk policy within pre-approved/pre-qualified campaigns and live digital journeys.

This role entails ensuring APIs operate smoothly at scale, identifying ways to simplify and reduce customer journey risks, and collaborating with teams across Digital Banking Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable machine learning solutions
  • Analyze and optimize API performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth

Requirements:

  • Masters or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Civil/Mechanical
  • 6-8 years of overall industry experience, with at least 3-4 years in Machine Learning (ML)/MLOps or Business Rule Engine (BRE) implementation
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Machine Learning/MLOps System Design
    • Programming & Data Tools: Proficient in Python, PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, SQL, and Linux
    • Cloud & Big Data: Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Databricks, Spark, Data Warehousing, and pipeline orchestration
    • CI/CD & DevOps: Skilled in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and management
    • API Development: Experience with FastAPI/Flask for building scalable ML models APIs
  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to credit risk modeling and financial services is a strong plus
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management, Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
