Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Validation Specialist with 8-10 years of experience in new product development. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Fieldbus communication protocols and experience using protocol testing/analyzer tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, test cases, and validation items, as well as collaborating with the product team and subject matter experts. They will also ensure that all requirements are tested and validated, and that the necessary resources and infrastructure are available for test support and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create test plans, test cases, and validation items
  2. Collaborate with the product team and subject matter experts
  3. Ensure all requirements are tested and validated
  4. Maintain product quality and adhere to processes
  5. Manage SW packages and PCR's with respect to validation
  6. Evaluate test results with the development team
  7. Review test cases and test results with fellow tester engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical & Electronics Engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of Fieldbus communication protocols
  • Experience using protocol testing/analyzer tools
  • IEC 61131 PLC Programming Languages
  • Variable Frequency Drives and its applications
  • Python programming language (added advantage)
  • Robot Framework (added advantage)
  • Test & Defect management tools like polarion or any similar tools
  • Scrum experience (preferred)
  • ISTQB Foundation/Advanced/Expert certification (advantage)
