Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior electronics engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing procurement processes, sourcing electronic components globally, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.
  • Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts from global suppliers.
  • BUILD AND MANAGE VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS; evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
  • Use software tools (ERP or similar) to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.
  • Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
