Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical/Electronic Specialist to fill this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electronics/electrical components and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities, qualifying replacements, and performing testing to release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership, collaborating with mechanical, software, system, and process engineering teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout different phases of design and development
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings
Prioritized Skills:
  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect
  • Select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Working knowledge of electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience with bench-level testing and system-level testing of electronics components
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
