About the Role

Key Challenges We Face

  • Designing a printed circuit board for a dialysis machine that operates reliably in a hospital with frequent power cuts.
  • Ruggedizing hardware for aerospace devices that face sudden temperature and pressure changes.
  • Creating ultra-low-power boards for IoT devices used in municipal water monitoring.
  • Ensuring hardware designs remain compliant with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Electronic System Design & Development

  • Design, prototype, and test electronic circuits for embedded and IoT devices.
  • Select, validate, and qualify electronic components for high-reliability use.
  • Analyze hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support EMC testing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Integration & Validation

  • Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers for end-to-end system integration.
  • Own hardware validation, debugging, and certification compliance.
  • Evaluate and adopt new components, tools, and design methodologies to enhance performance.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate design documentation, testing reports, and compliance records.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, reliability, and quality standards across all deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in electronic system design and development.
  • Proficiency with design tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCAD).
  • Strong understanding of EMC principles and certification processes.
  • Familiarity with ruggedization techniques and power optimization methods.
