Database Team Lead Position

We are seeking a seasoned Database Team Lead to oversee the administration, optimization, and strategic use of our SQL Server databases.

This role involves leading a team of database professionals, managing critical data infrastructure, and supporting data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and analyzing A/B tests or experiments using SQL, as well as a deep understanding of SQL Server architecture and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of database administrators (DBAs) in maintaining and optimizing SQL Server databases.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other data experiments to support product, marketing, and business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and queries to support data experimentation and analysis.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and security of all database systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications preferred).
  • 6–8+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B tests or experiments using SQL.
