Job Title: Database Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the database systems that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database architectures to meet business requirements
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing database systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and deploy database solutions using SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 architecture
  • Work with CDC using Debezium/Kafka for real-time data sync
  • Configure and maintain Always On Availability Groups
  • Perform Performance/Query tuning and debugging of stored procedures and SQL jobs
  • Implement backup/restore strategies, recovery models, and DB maintenance on production support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture, SSMS, and SQL Agent
  • Practical experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts (including nights and weekends, as required)
