Architect for Workplace Interiors (Commercial)

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Architect to join our team and contribute to the creation of functionally beautiful spaces that reflect clients' vision and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in interior design for commercial workplaces and possess excellent conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with other team members to develop comprehensive design concepts that meet client needs and expectations;
  • Applying outstanding technical skills in SketchUp, AUTOCAD(2D), Photoshop, and Enscape to effectively communicate design ideas to clients;
  • Developing detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications;
  • Selecting furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories, and producing material boards to ensure cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs;
  • Focusing on designing workplace interiors for corporate clients and following design guidelines, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure safe and compliant designs;
  • Working with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, maintaining productivity and quality targets;
  • Attending meetings with clients and contractors to discuss design changes and provide guidance and advice;
  • Continuously upgrading skills and knowledge in design software, products, and materials to remain current with industry trends and innovations.

Requirements include:

  • Strong technical skills in SketchUp, AUTOCAD(2D), Photoshop, and Enscape;
  • Excellent conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills;
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction effectively and quickly;
  • Strong attention to detail and technical abilities;
  • Flexibility to manage concurrent projects in various stages of development;
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture;
  • 1-3 years of experience required in interior design for commercial workplaces;
  • Proven experience in workplace interior design;
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with an ability to deliver unique and inspiring designs;
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work and design style;
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
