Job Title: High-Performance Infrastructure Architect

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead the design, optimization, and automation of our CAD/EDA infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, EDA license management, and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Define and implement advanced features for our LSF setup, including fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Lead the transformation of our CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Environment Development: Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automation and Monitoring: Automate key infrastructure processes, such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Collaboration and Deployment: Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 8 years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management.
  • Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus.
  • Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
