Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Architect Specialist to lead the evaluation and transformation of existing enterprise cloud setups. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating current-state cloud setups (networking, security, reliability, cost) and delivering clear improvement plans
  • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code across projects using Terraform or similar tools
  • Designing and modifying architectures using GCP services such as VPC, subnets, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, IAM, Service Accounts, and Secrets Manager
  • Building and running workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and/or Compute Engine; containerizing where sensible; tuning autoscaling
  • Configuring Cloud SQL, Spanner, Memorystore, and BigQuery as relevant; backup/restore, HA/DR patterns
  • Setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with policy checks and environment promotion
  • Implementing monitoring and alerting with Cloud Monitoring & Logging; SLOs/error budgets where appropriate
  • Hardenings security (SCC, IAM least-privilege, org policies, VPC-SC, private access) and advising on compliance
  • Optimising costs (rightsizing, committed use/Autopilot, storage lifecycle, data egress patterns)
Requirements:
  • 4+ years in cloud infrastructure with 3+ on GCP
  • Deep knowledge of VPC design, routing/NAT, load balancing, IAM, GKE/containers, and Linux fundamentals
  • Experience introducing controls: org policies, folder/project structure, billing budgets/alerts, SCC
  • Proven ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver safely in regulated/enterprise contexts
  • Excellent English oral communication skills
