Job Description:
Project Planning and Management:- We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Director to lead and manage all solar-related projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including tendering, execution, delivery, and maintenance.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- He/She will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- The selected candidate will lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of tenders for solar projects.
- He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and financial inputs for tender proposals.
- The appointed Solar Project Director will act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- He/She will ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders to drive project success.
- The successful candidate will ensure that all projects comply with local and international regulations, standards, and environmental policies.
- He/She will conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of performance.
- The selected Solar Project Director will lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- He/She will conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as needed to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in solar project management, including tendering, execution, and delivery.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale solar projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of solar technologies, installation processes, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
