Job Title: Data Steward

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our organization as a Data Steward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the authoritative figure for assigned data domains, ensuring their accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and maintain metadata, business glossary entries, and data catalog information in data governance tools.
  • Collaborate with data owners to establish and enforce data definitions, classifications, and quality standards.
  • Analyze data profiles, identify issues, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Support the onboarding of new data assets by cataloging, establishing lineage, and assigning stewardship responsibilities.
  • Assist in configuring governance tools, managing workflows, and automating integrations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to implement PII tagging, data masking, and access governance.
  • Provide training and support to business users in effectively utilizing governance tools.
  • Deploy a master data governance framework and leverage supporting data management tools.
  • Develop and track data quality metrics, monitoring performance against established targets.
  • Cultivate a culture of data governance through regular reviews and recommendations for process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance or a related field.
