Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to oversee procurement activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering a collaborative culture.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, promoting quality and collaboration.
  2. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with overall business objectives, focusing on efficiency, risk management, and sustainability.
  3. Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in procurement operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as a point of contact for service delivery issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Play a key role in the procurement process, creating and releasing Statements of Engagement (SES) and Purchase Orders.
  • Inspect incoming requisitions for correctness and completeness, redistributing or referring them when necessary.
  • Engage with collaborators, monitor and approve Purchase Orders, perform quality checks, and ensure maintenance requirements are met.
  • Resolve operational issues with suppliers, sourcing specialists, and requestors related to goods, services, invoice payments, returns, and more.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, business, engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Certification in CPSM, CIPS, CPM, SPSM, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • 13 years of overall work experience, including 7-8 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent relationship management and process optimization skills.
  • Proficient in Procurement applications tools, including SRM, SAP, ARIBA, and Salesforce.
