Job Summary

A senior database expert with extensive experience in developing and maintaining high-performance databases using advanced SQL techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle RDBMS, expertise in coding complex SQL queries, views, and data models, as well as hands-on experience with database optimization, monitoring, and automation.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, releasing, maintaining, and providing technical support for database development, reviewing SQL code for changes, performance, and optimization improvements, and working closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, release, maintain, and provide technical support for database development.
  • Review SQL code for changes, performance, and optimization improvements.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Lead a team of database developers.
  • Implement new business features based on requirement specifications and technical designs.
  • Fix bugs in existing applications.
  • Refactor code.
  • Execute development tests and create unit tests.

Requirements:

  • Key Skills:
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Oracle RDBMS.
  • Coding skills to write complex SQL queries, views, and data models.
  • Hands-on experience with database optimization, monitoring, management, and automation.
  • Ability to lead a team of database developers.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • 6-10 years' experience in database development.
  • Experience handling teams is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of product-based software is preferred.
