Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in the shopfloor as per production plan.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production using materials handling equipment such as RGV, AGV, forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, stalkers, and conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting, de-palletizing, palletising, packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, and other tasks.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, variance analysis, and regular audits.
  • Move various scrap (hazardous and non-hazardous) to defined areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, and SCM to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Enter and maintain required information in SAP and documents according to standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to standards and best practices in logistics operations.

Specific Tasks:

  • Ensure the right materials are delivered to production at the right time and in the right place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppage due to non-availability of materials.
  • Train manpower to use related equipment for execution.
