Key Supply Chain Role Overview

This key position will oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing end-to-end supply chain functions.

  • Production Planning & Scheduling:
  • • Align material availability with production plans to prevent downtime.
  • • Collaborate with teams for demand forecasting and capacity planning.
  • • Monitor daily/weekly production plans and adjust schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
  1. Procurement & Supplier Coordination:
  2. • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
  3. • Coordinate with vendors to track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor stock ageing, and initiate disposal or consumption plans as necessary.

Warehousing & Logistics: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, manage warehouse operations, and ensure OTIF deliveries.

Cost & Process Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives to reduce logistics, inventory carrying, and procurement costs.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS norms, and statutory regulations.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team, define roles and responsibilities, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience: A graduate in Engineering, Science, or Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred) with 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management.

Preferred Industry Background: Flexible Packaging, FMCG, Chemicals, Pharma, or Automotive components.
