Job Title: RTL Architect

Job Description:

  • We work closely with our customers to define digital signal processing, system, and board architecture.
  • Our team takes ownership of projects from concept to delivery, identifying risks, dependencies, creating mitigation plans, tracking project schedules, and discussing with customers.
  • Algorithm partitioning for implementation in FPGA and/or software, identifying building blocks and signal processing functions.
  • Estimating FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth.
  • Creating module-level details from architecture, coding, simulation, and peer reviews, applying design, verification, and validation methodologies.
  • Maintaining project-related documentation, including design documents with detailed analysis reports.
  • Providing support to customers during integration phases at test sites and to production teams.
  • Defining the architecture of RTL functions.
  • Coding using HDL languages.
  • Simulation and implementation of designs.
  • Testing and debugging on boards.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong VHDL skills.
  • Proficiency in Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Functional simulation experience.
  • Expertise in hardware design, logic design, and debugging.
  • FPGA design skills in VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, System C/System Verilog.
  • Knowledge of FPGA synthesis and PAR tools.
  • Implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA environments for radar and electronic warfare systems.
  • Modeling algorithms in Octave/MATLAB, generating test vectors, and visualizing data.
  • Understanding ADCs and DACs and interpreting their performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with version control tools like SVN.
