Signal Processing Engineer Position

We are looking for an accomplished DSP Systems Engineer with expertise in developing advanced algorithms using techniques from Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory. This role involves defining performance specifications, designing, testing, verification, and validation of signal processing algorithms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop signal processing algorithms using techniques from Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
  • Design and simulate end-to-end systems from scratch to meet a required performance specification
  • Analyze and verify algorithms against real-world data
  • Perform MATLAB simulations and fixed-point implementations

Required Qualifications:

  • MSEE or higher with a focus on DSP or digital communications theory
  • 3-10 years of experience in implementing DSP algorithms
  • Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems
  • Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors
  • Expertise in MATLAB and C/C++ and experience with other languages (e.g., Python)
  • Ability to learn and implement new algorithms in groundbreaking technology

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Background in Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW)
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter
  • Experience developing DSP algorithms on FPGAs
