Job Title: Senior Fraud Investigator

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Lead Anti-Fraud Specialist. This role involves conducting thorough investigations into fraudulent activities, utilizing expertise in UK-specific fraud typologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate complex cases of financial crime, identifying patterns and anomalies in banking systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK regulatory environments, including FCA, PRA, and AML regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Analyze large datasets using case management software, developing strategies to prevent future instances of fraud.
  • Presentation of findings to stakeholders, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, working independently under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Strong Background in Investigations: Proven experience in investigating complex cases of financial crime.
  • Knowledge of UK Regulatory Environments: In-depth understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Ability to analyze large datasets using various tools and software, identifying trends and anomalies.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
