About Our Talent Acquisition Role:

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to spearhead our talent acquisition efforts in India. This key position involves driving recruitment strategies that align with organizational objectives, leveraging a deep understanding of the education landscape and networks across institutions.

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, business leaders, and university stakeholders to comprehend workforce needs and craft effective recruitment plans.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates, building a strong pipeline for current and future roles.
  • Promote an engaging and seamless recruitment journey from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency throughout.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, enhancing our employer brand within the education and EdTech sectors.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, UGC guidelines, and organizational policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruitment documentation.
  • Foster collaboration and morale among people managers and leadership, supporting the people agenda and driving productivity and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the talent market.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of recruitment experience, with a focus on managing a talent acquisition portfolio.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRMS, and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams from scratch and scale recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
