Quality Control Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting sampling analysis and reporting on purified water, raw materials, finish products, stability, and in-process samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling, analysis, and reporting of Purified water, Raw material, Finish product, Stability, and in-process samples
  • Environmental monitoring in production, warehouse, and microbiology laboratory
  • Maintenance of Pure culture
  • Sterilization of microbiological culture media and performance of GPT
  • Calibration of microbiology lab instruments and equipment
  • Compress air Monitoring
  • Handling of lab incidents (OOS, OOT, OOC) in coordination with department head and other cross-functional team
  • Maintenance of the microbiological document
  • Necessary entries in instrument usage log as per GLP requirement
  • Critical findings to section head and head QC on daily basis
  • Sample registration entry of analytical data in LIMS
  • Trends for purified water and environmental monitoring data
  • Calibration, validation, and re-qualification of microbiology lab instruments as per the schedule
  • Monthly water and environmental monitoring schedule
  • Coordination with other plant for sharing and harmonization of the best microbiology practices
  • Issuance of worksheet from LIMS
  • Work allocation to team in absence of Microbiology Head
